Best things to do for a rainy day

Somethings rainy days can turn out to be the best days, I love nothing more than spending the day inside all cosy whilst it’s raining outside. I thought I would share my top five favourite things to do whilst it’s raining outside considering the weather we’ve been having in the UK I thought it might come in handy!

1. Watch Netflix on the sofa- there is nothing better than being warm inside on the sofa under a blanket with a cup of tea and some snacks watching a good show on Netflix. At the moment my favourites have been Riverdale and Dynasty but I would love some more recommendations.

2. Have a go at online bingo- although this isn’t something I do a lot due to funds it is something. I do  enjoy doing every now and then. I really like Boomtown Bingo for finding the best websites to use it has a star rating and makes finding a website to have a game of bingo really quick and easy. I of course don’t spend money I can’t afford to gamble and only encourage gambling responsibly so this website is really helpful and provides a little fun on a rainy day.

3. Baking - I’ve always loved baking since I was little it’s lovely to see a idea come to life and actually have something edible at the end of it. Lemon drizzle cake is my favourite to bake at the moment.

4. Jigsaws- I recently bought a santorini jigsaw and I’ve really been enjoying putting it together. I bought a jigsaw mat so it’s easy to put away and get back out. It’s really the perfect thing to do during a rainy day, before you know it’s tea time and you’ve been doing it for hours!

5. Reading- I recently got really into reading books again, I just finished still me by JoJo Moyes and I love it, I’ve read all three books now and I couldn’t recommend them enough! I be just started reading the F Word by Lily Pebbles which seems really good too! I definitely need some more recommendations for when that’s finished with though!
