Ecoegg fresher for longer

Ecoegg is a brand I've known about for a while, mainly for their laundry egg which is good for eczema and asthma. I was recently given the opportunity to review the ecoegg fresher for longer disc holder and discs.

This is quite a clever product, it absorbs the gases (etcylene gas) that makes your fruit and veg go off therefore making your fruit and veg last longer, which is never a bad thing. This can be inserted into your fridge. In my case I've been putting it on the side of the basket in the bottom of the fridge were the fruit and veg is stored.
Each disc lasts for 3 months which I think is quite good and each pack comes in a set of 12 so will last quite a long time. They don't give off any odour which is great and I really did notice over a 10 day period that the fruit and vegetables were lasting longer, which is great!

QVC currently have the disc holder and set of 12 disc on offer for £12.96 which is quite reasonable if you ask me!

I've recently ordered the Ecoegg laundry egg and disc as its actually one of the only things I can find to wash my clothes in that I'm not allergic to, so I'm looking forward to seeing if they make any difference.

  1. This seems like a really good idea to keep things fresh in the refrigerator. Had never had of an Ecoegg before but will look for it now. :) x
