Cupcakes!

                             
    
                                 

       Today I had a baking day! I haven't baked for ages and I decieded it was time to start baking again. I made cupcakes and decorated used buttercream icing and royal icing. They turned out better than I expected, the cute little white hearts are my favourite part. I decieded to go for a pink theme because I thought  they would look cute with the white icing which I used for the hearts, overall I'm quite pleased with the results.

                    
                                   

I used DR Oetker gel food colouring which I haven't used before. I still prefer the typical 
Liquid food colouring as you only have to use a tiny amount to create the right colour where as with the paste food colouring I had to use nearly the whole tube to create the baby pink buttercream. I really enjoyed making them I just hope they taste nice!
