Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour

On recommendation from so many people i decided to purchase the Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream after hearing such amazing reviews. Instead of buying the full sized creams i went for the gift set so i could test them all out before purchasing in full size.

The Eight Hour Daily Moisturizer was the thing i was most looking forward to trying, i have heard so many great things about this so i though it was about time i tried it out. This cream came out in a thick consistency but left my skin feeling light and fresh. As this is an Eight Hour cream i put it on of a morning before going out, although i felt it didn't last the full eight hours i did however feel that this helped with my dry skin by keeping it feeling moisturized and fresh.

The Eight Hour lip balm didn't quite last the Eight hours and left me feeling as though i had to apply it through out the day. However it left my lips feeling smooth, soft and hydrated. As i suffer with really sore lips in winter this really did help as it stopped my lips from tingling and burning.
This was by far my favorite product from the set, this cream which comes out in a orange oily formula really does protect your skin. I put this on of a morning on places were i suffer from dry skin. After Eight hours i still felt that this was protecting my skin which is unusual to find in a product. Out of the products which i have tried so far this would defiantly be the one which i would recommend it can be used on your lips as well as your face and is a great all round product.

Please let me know if you have tried any more Elizabeth Arden products which they would recommend.

  13. Wonderful post. I've always been tempted to use the Elizabeth Arden products, but I've been reluctant because of the price tag. Might have to give them a go, though. (:
