St Tropez purity bronzing water

st tropez purity bronzing water

Now fake tanning isn't something I do all the time nor is it something I've tried a lot either. I only ever really do for occasions like graduation or birthdays as I'm so so pale and don't really like the normal orange tone to fake tan.
I had heard so many people mainly Lydia Emillen talking about the St Tropez purity duo and thought they sounded amazing. I have tried St Morez and Rimmel in the past and thought both were okay and gave me an all round okay colour but I wanted something I could use more often but was a little more subtle.

The St Tropez tanning mousse has been perfect for my pale skin! I tend to use it when I come out the shower and just use a mit to apply the mouse evenly all over. I have to admit, it did take some getting used to as the mousse is clear it has a little shimmer to it so you can see were you have put it a little bit. It develops within 4-8  and doesn't leave any stains or marks on your pyjamas and sheets which is a bonus! It isn't at all streaky either!
Once developed it gives the loveliest most natural glow as if you have been away in the sun for week. Its definitely not a dark tan so if thats what your looking for then this won't be for you.

It last around 3-4 days so great for any special events that you have coming up! The only thing I don't like was the tropical smell, it still smells slightly like fake tan and not very tropical!

I have recently bought the face mist to match but I have only used it once so far but I'm looking forward to trying that out after being so impressed with the bronzing water!

NYX Lingerie Review

NYX has come Boots in the UK this past year, which I was quite excited about as I've heard so many great things about the brand so when I saw they brought out new matte liquid lipsticks I had to try one.
I picked one up in the shade Bedtime flirt first up I like the packaging of this lip stain its simple yet effective I like that you can see the shade of the lip stain through.
This is a mauve/ pink shade I'm quite pale so this looks quite browny on my lips which I like, these dry quite fast onto the lips and stay put all day without having to touch them up. The only downside to these I would say is that they do dry out my lips quite a bit by the end of the day I'm desperate to get it off my lips.
There are 12 different shades to chose from each being quite different ranging from pinks to quite dark brown shades their are definitely shades to suit everyone.
I've recently been trying more of NYX products such as their matte spray and their illuminator which I love, they are such an affordable brand but the quality of the products are really good.
If you haven't tried any NYX products yet I'd definitely recommend trying them out.

FleurDeForce Mac lipstick

mac cosmetics

fleurdeforce mac

Let me start off by saying I have watched Fleur on youtube for over four years now so I was very excited when she announced her collaboration with one of my favourite brands MAC!

I have quite a few Mac lipsticks already all of which are nudes shades, I tend to only wear nude or pinky shades on my lips and Mac are definitely one of my go to brands when it comes to lipsticks. When Fleur posted the colour of her lipstick on instagram I knew I would want it straight away, its completely up my street.
Fleur's lipstick is a cremesheen formula which is actually the only formula from Mac which I haven't tried before. Its so creamy which I love because I have quite dry lips so this feels quite soft. Its such an easy to wear shade I can definitely see myself reaching for this on a day to day basis.

I also love the box from this lipstick to the Fleur De Force stamp is a lovely added touch! Personally I think its so cool to see youtubers and bloggers getting the oppourtunity to collaborate with such iconic beauty brands like Mac.

p.s sorry the swatch isn't the best I didn't have my twin to help me this time haha!

October Birchbox- DONE

Birchbox as most of you probably know is a monthly beauty subscription box were you receive at least 5 beauty products each month.
I have been wanting to get a birch box for quite a while now but never actually ever got round to purchasing one but when I saw the design for Octobers box I thought it was about time I tried it.
There were four different designs, fire, air, water and earth depending on your star sign I'm a Leo so I got the fire box which is such a pretty design.
Inside I received 6 really good products that i was really happy with.
First up is the LOC one and done shadow stick in peachy sheen I've not tried anything from them before this looks quite good.
I also received the rituals hammer body mud- I've been dying to try something from rituals for soo long now and I don't own a clay scrub so I'm really looking forward to trying this.
Next I got the Doux me pure spring mist- I love face mists since I have really dry skin so this should be perfect for me its definitely going in my bag.
I also got the Trilogy moisturising cream which I haven't heard too much about but A lot of people really like Trilogy so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.
I also got both the Batiste volume spray and the This works deep sleep pillow spray I have used both of these before and really enjoyed using them so I'm glad to have them again.

Birchbox is a great way of trying new products and is reasonably priced to I'll definitely be getting more boxes in the future.

NYX

NYX is a highly raved about brand and with it becoming readily available in the UK this year I was so excited to get my hands on some products.

First up I won a competition a while back with Feel Unique where I received the matte finish long lasting setting spray. I have to admit I'm not normally one for a matte finish as it doesn't normally work well with my dry skin but I've been really enjoying using this. My makeup has lasted all day without drying out my skin, I'll be trying out the dewy version when this bottle runs out.

Next up is the liquid illuminator in the shade sunbeam. A little bit goes a long way with this product, I use it in replacement of a highlighter for days when I want a more subtle look and under my eyes to brighten. Its also very lightweight and lasts all day.

After reading so many rave reviews about the soft matte lip creams I knew I had to give them a try! I picked up London which is a peachy brown shade and cannes which is a warm pinky shade. I love the texture of these lip stains they go on silky smooth and dry quite quickly. I wouldnt say they are the longest lasting lip stains I've used but do last around 4 hours before needing to be re applied.

Lastly I picked up an NYX lingerie lip stain in the shade bedtime flirt which to me is a mauvey- pinky tone and is described by NYX as a rosy cinnamon shade. These are super easy to apply and dries on the lips very quickly without completely drying them out. I definitely want to pick up more shades from this range.

Overall I love everything that I've tried from NYX I think their quality is good and their prices are very reasonable, I can't wait to try more from the brand.

Kiel's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Oil

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate Oil has be one of the most talked about products on youtube and blogs its been raved about for so long and after struggling to combat my eczema flaky dry skin I caved and thought it was about time I tried it.
This Oil claims to give you fresher, firmer and younger looking skin by morning. As my skin is so so dry I've been using 3/4 drops each night although I would say for normal skin only 2 drops would be needed. The next morning I found my skin was a lot softer and the redness from my eczema had dramatically reduced, of course it didn't get rid of my eczema as thats not what its for but it did really calm my skin down which doesn't happen so easily. This isn't heavily scented but smells so spa and fresh like.
Although £49 for 50ml is quite pricy a little goes a long way and the bottle will last some time, for me it's 100% worth it for my skin and I couldn't recommend it anymore.

My Pure, Rosehip Oil

Its that time of the month again when I review two products from My Pure who if you don't know by now sell a wide variety of natural skincare, haircare and makeup and other bits and bobs to.
Trilogy Rosehip Oil- Over the years I have heard many good things about Reship Oil and the difference it can have on your skin. I have eczema prone skin which is very dry and dehydrated so this sounded perfect for me . This claims to reduce scars by 41%, stretch marks by 43% and fine lines and wrinkles by 23% while hydrating your skin at the same time. I'm currently using it on a scar I have on my face but haven't been using it long enough yet to see if it makes a real difference as that will take time.
Overall This has made my skin really soft and a lot less flakey obviously it doesn't stop the eczema from appearing but it keeps it at bay and calms and hydrates the skin (I've been using 3 drops every night for the past week). For me this is definitely worth it.
Secondly this month I decided to try something I had been eying up on the My Pure website for some time now, which is the Munio Candlea in the scent Jupiter and Limonioum candle - which in essence is Lemongrass and Mint scented. I have to say the scent is a lot stronger than I expected but it smells amazing it leaves a scent in the room without even burning it. The lemongrass is definitely  more prominent out of the two, I think it would make the perfect fresh summer candle, plus how pretty is that packaging! My Pure also has three other Munio Candlea candles which are currently half price for £6.50 which is a bargain.

Scaredoo hair brush

You've probably all heard of tangle teasers which everyone seems to love, I personally couldn't see me likening a brush more than the tangle teaser or even a brush equally on the same scale. I was recently sent his brush by scaredoo who sell de triangle professional haircare brushes which look very similar the tangle teasers. I've tried these out now for a good few weeks and I have to say I love it it's. 2 in 1 so you can flip the brush to have different Brussels making it good for all hair types. It's gentle on your hair it doesn't snag and leaves you hair feeling beautifully soft, what more could you ask for in a brush? These are available in a range of different colours baby blue, salon black, pretty pink, prefect purple and sunshine yellow which I choose.
You can find them at www.scaredoo.co.uk and on twitter at @scaredooUK
Would you consider buying one of these?

*MyPure review*

I got sent Eau Fraiche body mist- citrus verbena and the Eco tools fresh and flawless complexion set by the lovely people at my pure. I was so excited to give them both a try.

The Eco tools 5 piece fresh and flawless complexion set consists of a flat concealer brush, buffing concealer brush, precision foundation brush, complexion blending brush and powder brush. These are a perfect set of brushes making a complete set to over ever aspect of your face. The brushes are lot smaller than most brushes meaning they are perfect for taking in your bag or for taking on holiday. The case the brushes come in are also a perfect way of storing the brushes and to use for travelling purposes. I've never tried any Eco tools brushes yet but I've heard great thing so far and I can't wait to caring on using as so far they feel amazingly soft when using and allows me to put my makeup on more accurately.

I absolutely  love this spray, I've only worn it a few times and I just love it! This is a body mist, it's light, fresh and perfect for summer. I already have a similar product from the body shop and I wasn't expecting to like this as much but I do. It's citrus and fruit scent is so refreshing. It's the perfect size to fit in your handbag as it's a long tube which is 30ml. As it's only a body mist it doesn't last very long but it's perfect for topping up in the middle of the day. I'd recommend this for a daily use.
You can purchase both of these products from my pure you can also find them on twitter at @mypure.
Has anyone else tried any of these products?
